Why buy FLEX HUET?

Our FLEX HUET is designed for training of all traditional helicopter types no matter if you are a pilot, crew or passenger. FLEX HUET is designed to be changeable within a few minutes and a new door, window or a blank could be installed.

If you need to train pilots you can install the cockpit together with cyclic, collectives, foot panels, communication console and 5 point rotary harness. All the parts of the FLEX HUET are changeable on site by your staff and installed in short time.

The flexible designs on the FLEX HUET:

Side panels: Each of the four side panels on each side of the FLEX HUET is changeable. The side panel comes with windows, doors or as blank.

Emergency exits: You can change the window and door size and placements. A side panel can contain a window or a door, and if e.g. you want to install a other type of window or door, you remove the side panel and install a new one with another type of window or door. The modification done within few minutes.

Seats: The seat is individual seats designed to be installed single, double or as a row. Again only one seat and able to fit into many configurations. Seats can be customized to your needs.

Seatbelts and buckles: The seat is designed to fit 2, 4 and 5 point harness, rotary and lever-type. These seatbelts is changeable and all are equipped with a quick release safety mechanism. The harness is so designed, that is is easy to tighten and loose.

Bulkhead panels: If the training requires a divided cabin e.g. training of helicopter pilots, bulkhead panels can be installed in few minutes.

Cockpit including pilot control bars and pedals: The cockpit is designed to be able to be installed manually on the FLEX HUET. No need of buying a HUET with a cockpit and one without a cockpit. In the cockpit instrument panel and the tail rotor foot panel is installed. The cyclic and the collective are installed in the floor and on the seat itself. Installations of this equipment and cockpit can be done with in short time on site by your staff.

Color and logo: The FLEX HUET is able in many different colors and can be designed with your company logo.

The safety design on the FLEX HUET:

Braking system: The FLEX HUET is installed with a safe breaking system, which allows the operator to release the breaks remotely to rotate the simulator.

Seatbelt safety release mechanism: All types of our seatbelts is equipped with a quick release mechanism.

Rotation system: The rotation system is designed as passive system. The system is working via buoyancy in the two air tanks installed under the FLEX HUET. When the FLEX HUET is lowered into the water and the breaks is released the two buoyancy tanks will float to the surface and that create the rotation of the FLEX HUET.

Sharp edges and corners: All sharp edges and corners is removed or designed as non existing.

Remote control: The remote control for releasing the break comes separately, but can be build into existing crane control panels.

When purchasing a FLEX HUET, the FLEX HUET will as standard be in dark blue with white windows and seats and be delivered with, 2 door panels, 4 window panels (2 Puma size and 2 S-91 size windows), 2 blank panels, 8 Seats, 8 for point rotary harness, 8 safety release mechanisms,2 foot panels, break system, rotation system, trolley on wheel and a protection cover in dark blue.
